				ASP Service Model A new category, called “Application Service Providers” has emerged, driven by the growth of the Internet. “ASPs” offer the use of applications to any client that can be connected using remote, server-based hosting. Application hosting is proving to be immensely valuable, particularly among mid-sized enterprises. How does it work? Renting applications instead of buying is very compelling, especially for small to medium-sized organisations and "lean" businesses who do not have the internal expertise or funding to purchase and manage new applications but understand the advantages that they can bring to the organisation.
